MUSIC HALL MAYHEM

REVIEW - CROOKWELL GAZETTE

What happens when you take ordinary people and mix in a bit of comedy, song and dance? You get Music Hall Mayhem 2010!

The magic of CADS’ music halls is all about ordinary people getting together to produce something that can be quite extra-ordinary. Throw into the mix a multi-faceted production crew, a trouper of a choreographer, two highly proficient pianists and a bearded drummer from Taralga and the results are just waiting to be seen at the Crookwell Memorial Hall.

Don’t miss the chance over the next 2 weeks to enjoy six fabulous and entertaining performances featuring farmers, teachers, homemakers, tradies, retirees and senior citizens from our very own community. They have been putting in much hard work over the nest eight weeks to assemble this latest offering for you to enjoy. But the enjoyment is not one-sided. They’re having fun too and they hope that the fun will be contagious. If you were lucky enough to catch last year’s show you will see that Music Hall Mayhem 2010 is again a delightful blend of caberet and revue with rousing chorus numbers, solos, comedy sketches, recitations and much more. You will be tapping your feet to the beat and singing along with familiar melodies. One or two or three of the cast are sure to raise a smirk on your face, if not a full belly laugh at some of their antics, most of which will be deliberate!
